Author Rant

The full title of this blog is Author Rant: They Don't Call it the Submission Process for Nothing

In short, it answers the question, "What's it really like to get your first book published?" It's a true story-- I had my first book published in 2008. (FYI, the website for that book is www.SouthernFriedWriter.com )

Unless you've successfully navigated the waters of The Submission Process, chances are that everything you think you know is... well, let's call it optimistically skewed.
